Park City Trip - Engaged

The day it happened.

Chris Sherwin, manager of the mountain hosts at Deer Valley, was key in arranging and implementing the specifics. I had spent several days coordinating details with Chris, but didn't learn the following part of his personal past until the big day. Turns out Chris met his wife in the singles line while skiing in Washington State. Two years later they were engaged on the same mountain. Chris's wedding band, pictured here, includes an image of the mountain range where it all happened more than 15 years ago.

Our picnic lunch was in the glade seen in the distance.

It's hard to see here how very windy it was at the top.
